This accomplished septet presents the music from Sammy Figueroa's Latin GRAMMY®-nominated album of the same title. Dedicated to the memory of his father, romantic singer Charlie Figueroa, here classic boleros are transformed into modern Latin jazz with arrangements by Gonzalo Rubalcaba, John Daversa, Felipe Lamoglia, and Ricardo Rodriguez. The fabulous Cuban singer Aymée Nuviola brings a searing emotion to the songs, and Sammy, for the first time, also displays his wonderful rich voice on two songs. The show is accompanied by a multimedia presentation of videos and archival photos.
